Linda Depew designed the covers of this book. Each page depicts a minimalist constructivistic line drawing. The blank facing page is counted as a page because of the bleed through of the image of the preceding page according to Depew's recommendation. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

There is one word printed on each page whose letters are mostly formed from a stencil. Every word has "it" contained within it, e.g., kit, Jesuite, writ, etc. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

This book documents a suicide of a young man by a shot from a rifle in his mouth. It might be alluding to the suicide of d.a. levy who was well known to Wally Depew. Linda Depew did the linoleum block print on the cover. The pages mostly depict a 2 x 2 square or triangular grid with the stencilled letters L, O, V, and E as well as in some instances a blank square placed in various combinations. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

Each page depicts a line drawing of a circle in its upper half with a straight line dividing it from the lower half. The covers of the copies are printed on orange, yellow, and blue papers. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The pages depict stencilled, large numbers from 1 to 0(10), printed one to a page as a progression, e.g., 1 (one page), 2 (two pages), 3 (three pages), 4 (four pages), etc. In this respect, the progession is analogous to Richard Kostelanetz's Accounting (1973) except that the progressions of all the numbers are printed on a single page rather than multiple pages. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The capital letter, 'I,' placed on each page, has been progressively expanded in its width by morphing from a single 'I' to two overlapping 'I's' to a large fat 'I' using a stencil forms.
